Dassault - Falcon 900 EX/EASy
Description:
No matter how you look at it, the Dassault Falcon 900EX is an impressive private jet. With ranges of over 4,300 nm, an incredibly comfortable cabin, and an innovative three-engine configuration, it is an enviable machine. It is ideal for transoceanic and transcontinental trips and offers great versatility in flight planning.

Cabin
Standard seating is between eight and twelve passengers in a double-club configuration with a three-person divan. Two seats can be reclined and combined to make a full-length bed. Otherwise all of the seats are fully adjustable, can move along a track, swivel, recline, and everything else a seat could feasibly do. Console tables come standard, and there is room for virtually any piece of equipment – computer, copier, scanner, TV, desk, and so on. Even with the tables and seats, there is plenty of room to walk around the cabin.
Flight deck
The two pilot flight deck is equipped with five 20cm x 17.75cm (8in x 7in) color electronic flight information system (EFIS) displays and a Flight Dynamics HGS-2850 head up display. The Honeywell Primus 2000 avionics suite includes three IC-800 avionics computers and two, or optionally three, flight management systems, type FMZ-2000. The aircraft is equipped with dual autopilots and auto throttle from take off to the landing phase of flight. The auto throttle keeps the aircraft on a glide path by providing power control of the engines linked electromechanically to the automatic flight control system and automatic landing system.
Engines
Three fuel-efficient Honeywell TFE731-60 turbofan engines deliver 5,000 lb of takeoff thrust each (ISA +17°C). With nearly a million flight hours behind it, the mature -60 promises to be highly reliable and cost efficient.
The engine features a wide-chord, damper less fan that contributes to high thrust levels while durability is enhanced through the use of single-crystal blade materials in both high- and low- pressure turbines.
Performance
The Falcon 900EX's trijet configuration enhances safety and efficiency while delivering high performance under difficult conditions. The center engine virtually eliminates separation draft behind the tailcone. The smart trijet configuration places thrust closer to the centerline lowering the critical Vmc and consequently takeoff speeds while the center engine reverse thrust assists in stopping on short runways.
