Description:
The Hawker 800A has a number of modifications and changes over the 700; most noticeable was the redesigned cockpit windscreen. Accompanying this is a modified rear fuselage fairing as well as a glass cockpit and up-graded Garrett TFE731-5R-1H engines. British Aerospace also improved the wing by incorporating new outer wing sections. This helped to reduce drag and improve aerodynamic efficiency.

The Rockwell Collins Air show 21 cabin management system provides passengers with LCD touch screens for the control of cabin temperature, lighting and entertainment systems.
Flight deck
The Hawker 800A is equipped with the Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics suite with four 8in x 10in high-resolution Active Matrix Liquid Crystal Displays (AMLCD). The avionics suite includes: single FMS-6000 flight management system, Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS), Traffic alert and Collision Avoidance System (TCAS), Engine Indicating System (EIS), Integrated Flight Information System (IFIS), 8.33kHz spacing communications and turbulence detection weather radar.
The IFIS system provides the capability to display features that enhance safety and situational awareness such as electronic charts, enhanced map overlays, graphical weather (optional) and three dimension FMS mapping (optional), on a single display. The IFIS system includes a single FSU-5010 file server unit and single CCP-3000 cursor control panel.
